The kids are none other than Anupama Kylash and Anasuya Murthy, classmates at St Francis, where they put up innumerable ballets and were appreciated for their talent. Anupama is a now a popular danseuse of the twin cities, and along with Anasuya, a Carnatic vocalist trained in the tradition of Sree Annavarapu Ramaswamy, is set to perform her latest venture titled Bhakti Sandhya.
This experimental composition traces the poets of the Bhakti movement between the 11th and the 16th centuries - Jayadeva, Chaithanya Mahaprabhu, Vallabhacharya, Kabir, Alvars, Meerabai, Surdas, Tulsidas, Ramdas, Purandardas, Annamacharya, Chandidas, Tukaram etc. - through the medium of dance. The duo will attempt to recreate the ambience of a temple on stage in 'Bhakti Sandhya' organized by Yuvakalavahini.
