For an organization that meets its financial requirements through Bhiksha (alms),
these folks are pretty much in the top bracket. What we mean is that, the 'donor'
passes for this one cost upto Rs. 200!
But well, you're not exactly donating. You are going to a concert by a person
who has accomplished himself through several performances in India and abroad
over 20 years. Ajit Kadkade, the disciple of Pandit Jitendra Abhisheka, sings
light music, bhajans and natya sangeet. And he performs today for Sri Gurudutt
Bhajan Mandal, an organization that has, for 35 years now, been encouraging young
talent (this one is no young talent, though!). The Mandal is popular for its Sravanmas
Utsav that it has conducts every August for a month. Programs everyday and artists
from across the country make this a pretty popular festival.
