The World United is organising its 2nd National Conference on Spiritual Science, on 13th & 14th Dec '08. The conference will be held at JNTU Auditorium, Masab Tank, and the timings are 9am to 7pm.
On the 1st day of the conference, i.e. 13th Dec, Dr Ravindra Kumar will give a seminar on Kundalini Yoga.
Dr. Ravindra Kumar, fondly known as Swami Ravindrananda, is a Ph D holder in mathematics from IIT, Delhi. He taught mathematics at various universities in 10 countries for about 35 years. Through sustained yoga, meditation, pranayama and mantras he experienced the awakening of the Kundalini in 1987, while at the University of Zimbabwe. His inner journeys to higher realms of existence began on a regular basis thereafter, following an experience of death, which made him a 'dwij' or 'twice born'.
His interest shifted from mathematics to the science of self-realization. He has received intiations from many gurus, including Siddheshwar Baba, Eckankar Guru, Sri Herald Klemp, Guru Deepak Yogi and Dr. Swami Krishnananda Saraswati. Kumar established The Academy of Kundalini Yoga and Quantom Soul for imparting training in this direction, in Florida, Copenhagen, London and New Delhi.
Kundalini yoga results in an all-round development of one's personality - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, also helps in achieving self-realization. Normal working of the brain (15%) is said to gradually increase to much more.
