The World United is organising its 2nd National Conference on Spiritual Science, on 13th & 14th Dec '08. The conference will be held at JNTU Auditorium, Masab Tank, and the timings are 9am to 7pm.
On the 1st day of the conference, i.e. 13th Dec, Rishi Prabhakarji will give a seminar on the topic From Death To Immortality. This will be the 6th and last session of the day.
Rishi Prabhakarji, who is blessed and groomed by his Holiness Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, is an Aeronautical Engineer from the University of Ottawa and Carleton (1973), and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario (1975). He is a pioneer in the Science of Silence and Samadhi - and has applied it to the fields of health, management, education and ecology. His contribution has been documented in various books and CDs, including 'Miracles of Siddha Samadhi Yoga - A Guaranteed Answer to The Cure of Chronic Diseases', 'Creating Industries To Pleasant Homes Of Learning And Togetherness', and 'Developing 100% Memory of Students'.
He has trained many to reach different levels of silence (Laya Samadhi, Nitya Samadhi and Vishishta Samadhi), at hundreds of centres all around the world. He runs the institute Inspirational Leadership For Rural Development, affiliated to Karnataka University. Many books by his students are best sellers in Kannada.
