As part of its 130th anniversary celebrations, the Secunderabad Club is organising a contemporary music concert by VeHaan, on 13th December, at the West Lawns of the club.
VeHaan, a contemporary instrumental / R&B / pop artiste, was born in Dhanbad, and spent most of his childhood years in the tribal areas of Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa. He went on to study Indian classical music and took guitar lessons. He continued his quest for expanding his musical horizons, studied various music forms and listened to artists from around the world. Song-writing came almost naturally to him. His songs talk about the basics of life and how we try to deal with them. They reflect happiness, joy, sorrow, pain and their different forms.
VeHaan combines his range, voice and impressive dynamics, and translates them into sheer on-stage joy that leaves a captivated audience wanting more. His style of music has a touch of pop, rock, jazz and hip-hop, too. He sings mostly in Hindi, and being an Indian, some native influence is obvious.
Entry is allowed for members only. Please contact the Secunderabad Club at 2780-4840 / 2780-4842 / 2780-4843 for further details.
