Are corrupt, slothful, rude and boorish some of the words that come to the top of your head when you think of any government organization? Well, that needn't always be the case. Here's a spirit of bonhomie that you'd find quite novel, people singing tunes that hardly appear like components of their OST. This'll last for a whole evening, and tomorrow is another day.
The Forest Department Employees Cultural Association, formed last year, is celebrating its first culture program on stage today. On 14th December 2000 they had organized a sport meet at L B Stadium on a small scale, and this year, this cultural program will be the big event.
On this occasion, the employees of the organization will present a film music program. The artists who will take part in this program are Bhashapathy, Usha, Surya Padmaja, Poorna Chandra Rao, N Venkat Rao, Narsing Rao, Mahboob, Ved Singh, Suryanarayana, Nagaiah, Srinivas and J Praveen. Around 25 old film songs will be presented on the occasion. A mimicry program or a magic show of about 15 minutes will be there in the breaks. This is yet to be decided.
All the employees' families will be present to enjoy the event. K Subba Rao, the Chief Conservator of Forests, will be the chief guest for the evening.
Please contact G M Bhashapathy, President, at 345-9533/323-0561 for further details.
