It can't be fun being a kid at a painting competition. Since creative thoughts in painting usually translate to expressions on canvas that most mortals can't understand, any extraordinary creativity will be taken to be some doodling that the kid has done, and he'll lose out. The moral of the story? Don't let your kid be creative in a painting competition. Sheesh!
St Paul's High School is organizing the 9th inter-school painting competition at its premises today. The kids will be divided into 3 categories - seniors, juniors and sub-juniors. The topics for the seniors are 'Night View On Necklace Road' and 'National Leader'. For the juniors they are 'Animal In A Forest' and 'Airport', and for the sub-juniors they are 'Scenery' and 'Dancing Peacock'.
The students of LKG and UKG can also take part, and the topic will be 'Deepavali Lamps' or 'A Bunch Of Balloons'. Each participant will get a gift hamper worth Rs. 50, and a participation certificate. Children willing to take part can get in touch with the school authorities. Please contact 322-2092 for further details.
