If IT and Babu are the only entities that our 'Telugu Talli' is known for
within and outside, then some things seriously have to be set right. And the
best way to do that is to tell ourselves that in this technological rat race,
equally important and definitely more defining aspects like music and culture
cannot be compromised on. A few wise men to have realized that.
The Sanathana Dharma Charitable Trust is organizing a music festival and a cultural
exhibition for a six-day period. The unity of Telugus is the objective and reason
behind organizing this event. A few prominent personalities from various domains
will be felicitated on this occasion. The list is to be received soon.
Acharya N Gopi, the Vice-Chancellor of the Potti Sriramulu Telugu University,
will inaugurate a lecture series on Andhra history, culture, language, literature
and fine arts on this occasion.
Scholars and professors like B Rama Raju, M Radhakrishna Sharma, P Sriramachandrudu,
Suleman Siddiqui, Uma Rama Rao, Dr Ayub Ali, M S Reddy, Akkineni Nageshwar Rao,
Gummadi, K Satyanarayana, Gollapudi Maruti Rao and Ravi Kondala Rao will participate
in the session on Telugu films.
