Any band playing in town is a big event. But any band playing in our town is a
bigger event. Logically, that's very banal but if you've ever been to a rock concert,
you wouldn't be talking about logic. How can logic explain the vigorous shaking
of one's neck and screaming loudly, to be "awesome" and "radical?" But not all
hell is rock. There's a melodic tinge to this music too.
Dark Star Revival is a local band that plays blues and classic rock, the elements
adding sanity to this loud genre. The band has been playing for two years now
and is formed by: Arjun Chandra - Lead guitarist and vocals- a professional copywriter
Jobbin George - Bass guitarist - Assistant manager by profession Isaac - Guest
drummer - a student.
These guys generally play a lot of blues, classic rock and rock. Playing covers
of artists like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Vaughan and Holin Wolf. There'll be plenty
of old boys here and a lot of them expected at the joint as well. It's not everyday
that the actual flavor of rock and beer go hand in hand. It's more rock and cocaine.
So enjoy this discrepancy thoroughly. Cheers!
