The French Embassy, in association with Alliance Francaise Hyderabad and Unifrance, is presenting Rendez-vous With French Cinema, from 4th to 7th February, at Prasads Multiplex. This festival will showcase the latest productions of an innovative, diverse and dynamic French film industry, in 5 Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. It will be an important moment in the Indo-French cultural relationship, for which cinema is one of the strongest underpinning ties.
Today, the second day, Chrysalis (Avatar) will be screened at 8:00pm. The movie is directed by Julien Leclercq, and has Albert Dupontel, Marie Guillard, Marthe Keller, Mélanie Thierry, Estelle Lefébure, Francis Renaud, Claude Perron, Alain Figlarz, Smadi Wolfman, Patrick Bauchau, Guy Lecluyse, Cyril Lecomte, Manon Chevallier and Andy King portraying their respective roles.
David Hoffman, lieutenant in the European Police, accepts to go back in the line of duty to hunt down a dangerous smuggler suspected of a vile murder. The guy happens to have killed David's wife months before. His investigation will lead him to a state-of-the-art clinic under the iron grip of Professor Brugen.
