Tonite's Parvati Kalyanam does not have Lord Shiva as a special invitee - but you are welcome to the party!
The students of the summer camp organised by the Pragati Arts Academy are presenting the classical ballet 'Parvati Kalyanam'. Apart from the dance ballet, other Kuchipudi and folk dance items will also be performed. Students will also present an instrumental musical program along with the dance programs. They will play instruments like keyboard, tabla and sitar. A total number of 40 students will be presenting this dance and music extravaganza.
MLA G Krishna Reddy will be the chief guest for the evening. All India Radio reader, and writer Gopal Rao, will preside over the function. The other guests include actor Uthejh and magician Chukkapu V Ramana. About 500 people are expected to attend this event.
