After 2 livewire fests that were propelled by undergrads, here's a more cerebral one at Vasavi. The only thing that remains unchanged is the livewire bit.

The Pendekanti Institute of Management at the Vasavi College of Engineering campus is hosting its annual management meet called Udhyathi '07, on 23rd and 24th March. Udhyathi is a nation-level management meet, in which management students from all over the country present their papers. The 2-day meet will have many fun-filled events such as:

Lipika
A paper presentation on the topic of New Paradigms of Managing Indian Corporates.

Yojana
A team event of two members, it is a presentation of a business plan.

Medha
A quizzing event on topics related to business management. Teams of three members allowed.

Samagama
A HR team event of three participants which consists of three rounds - written, GD and case study.

Srijani
The participants are required to design an advertisement for a given product. A team event of three members.

Mudra
A team event of three members where one of the members is given a word which he/she has to convey the other two members of the team by actions or signs.

Pendekanti Institute of Management (PIM) offers a Master's Degree in Business Management, and is affiliated to the Osmania University and approved by AICTE. The 2-year full time program was started in the academic year 1991-92. The institute is sponsored by the Vasavi Academy of Education, which was established in 1981 under the stewardship of late Pendekanti Venkatasubbaiah, former Governor of Bihar and Karnataka.
