Tribute To Veturi Sundar Ram Murthy: Events in Hyderabad

The title doesn't leave much to the imagination, so here's a little more. Veturi himself will be here tonite.

Vipanchi Music Academy is organizing a music program, Veturi Aanimutyalu Sangeeta Vibhavari, on 5th November, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha. Songs of Veturi Sundar Ram Murthy will be sung by M Sashidhar Sarma, Ranjani and Bhudevi, along with a chorus group. They will be accompanied by J Dattatreya on the flute, Guru Prasad on the keyboard, Ram Mohan on the tabla, and Phani and M Sasidhar Sarma on the rhythm pads. The orchestra is being provided by Dattatreya Musicals.

Special guests for the event are renowned play writer and lyricist Veturi Sundara Ram Murthy, director and singer Nihal, and A Shyam Mohan, the Director of the A P State Finance Corporation.

Vipanchi Music Academy was started 2 years back by M Sashidhar Sarma. It is located at Sidhipet. Though it organizes music orchestras and musical events on themes like Ghantasala and S P Balasubramaniam, it concentrates more on devotional music events.
