The Annual Nawab Moin-Ud-Dowla State-Ranking Tennis Tournament will be hosted by the Secunderabad Club from 15th to 21st January. Over 60 players have confirmed their participation for the week-long tournament, and the competitions will be held in five categories like singles for Under-14 boys and girls, doubles for veterans over 55 years, and men's singles and doubles.
The matches will be played on both synthetic and clay surfaces - the club has 4 synthetic and 2 clay court surfaces. The registration fee is Rs. 200 per head, and the event carries a prize-money worth Rs. 45,000. The tournament will be sponsored by GATI and Surana Telecom.
