REVIEW FOR THE HYDERABAD YOUTH SUMMIT

To promote Hyderabad city as a brand, the Hyderabad Youth Festival is being organized by the Municipal Corporation Of Hyderabad and the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority, on 30th December at the People's Plaza grounds on the Necklace Road. On this occasion, the logo of Hyderabad city will be unveiled, and various competitions will be held, with the prize money at stake totaling to about Rs. 5 lakhs. The details of the competitions being held are as under:

11:00am to 3:00pm
Quiz
Painting and Slogan competitions on Hyderabad city
Elocution on Hyderabad, "A City With A Rich Past - Now Move It Into The Future" for school students of 9th Class & above, Colleges, Corporates/Institutions
Rangoli & Mehendi competitions for girl school students above 10th Class

4:00pm to 6:00pm
Fancy Dress Competitions for school students upto 7th Class

6:00pm to 8:00pm
Antakshari competitions to be anchored by Annu Kapoor and Durga Jasraj
Rock Band Competitions for schools & colleges

8:00am to 8:00pm
Exhibits competition on environment and civic issues (includes paintings, models, computer graphics, animation etc.) for all students
