So New Year is not far away now, but some of the most boisterous celebrations are. If money, distance and time are no concern, here's how to ring 2006 in.
Ramoji Film City, the world's largest film city, is organising the longest New Year party in town, for 8 days, from 24th to 31st December. There are many live shows, stunt shows, dances and many more activities to ensure you have unlimited fun.
The activity starts at 6:00pm everyday with a 1-hour illuminated tour of the film city, followed by fire-acts, stunts by professional artistes, musical nites and dances. DJ Neel takes over from there, spinning some Bollywood tracks for you to shake a leg. All these are lined-up from 24th to 30th December.
On the grand day, the 31st nite, in addition to all the above, there will be Egyptian dancers to ignite the night spirits, with their dose of African music. Then there is the Indian music band Silk Route, out to rock you their hit underwater number Dooba Dooba Rahta Hoon and many more.
The entry charges to these nights are Rs. 1,500 for a couple, Rs. 800 for an accompanying adult, and Rs. 500 for kids (3-12 years) from 24th to 30th December. On 31st December, the entry charges are Rs. 2,499 for a couple, Rs. 1,000 for a kid (3-12 years) and Rs. 1,500 for an accompanying adult. Stags are strictly not allowed.
