Mexican cuisine is known for its colorful decoration, presentation and varied flavors, but is also rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals, even though characterised as spicy. C'lantro, the fusion food restaurant of Hotel Fortune Katriya, is hosting a Mexican food festival from 22nd to 31st December.
This menu is only during dinner, with the buffet being priced at Rs. 375 + taxes (including a pint of beer/soft beverage). The spread contains of many mouth-watering items, with 3 veg and 3 non-veg starters, including Quesadillas Veg (flour tortillas filled with vegetables, corn, cheese served with salsa and sour cream), Nachos (cheese melted over corn chips, with beans and tomato) and Tacos (veg filling with crisp greens, tomato, layered in crisp tortilla shell), and Chicken Enchiladas (wheat-flour pancakes with spicy salsa, stuffed with chicken and baked).
The main course comprises of Chimichangas (deep fried tortillas with a filling of re-fried beans, cottage cheese, served with green rice, jalapenos and salsa), Mexican Wrap (two wraps made with veg filling, and served with salsa and chips), Tex Mex Pizza (corn, jalapenos, beans, spring onions and tomato slice), Broccoli Crepes with Mexican green sauce (broccoli and Mexican green sauce served with fries and jalapenos), Mexican Picante sizzler (baby corn, paneer slices and bell pepper marinated in picante Mexican sauce served with salsa, sour cream, jalapenos and Mexican rice), Spicy Mushroom Enchiladas (tortillas stuffed with mushroom and topped with Mexican tomato sauce and baked), and Mexican Fried Rice.
There are 8-10 salads like Mexican Tossed Salad, Kidney Bean Salad, Chicken & Mango Salad with Orange Rice, and Mexican Smoked Fish with Parcelly Salad. For desserts, there are Tequila Mousse, an array of ice-creams, cut-fruits and more.
