For all the raging debates on break-ups, live-in relationships and gay rights, marriage still plays a prime role in Indian culture. Given the significance it enjoys - in the family, and in society as a whole - it is no wonder that the business of conducting weddings is now officially called an 'industry', and that this industry has blossomed into a multi-billion dollar affair.
And for all the paraphernalia surrounding that once-in-a-lifetime milestone, the ITE group is organizing a Bride And Groom Exhibition at Expotel, from 14th August to the 16th August.
The event is a wedding & lifestyle exhibition, with over 40 exhibitors from all over India, including designers - Ashish Pandey and Jai Parvesh are a few of them - and other labels, some of which are Desire Jewels, Parampara by Sagar Mehra, Lusturouz by Jaya Mishra, and SCS Jewels. The exhibition will bring forward an array of choices for shoppers in the city, and the products include jewellery, designer wear, linen, artefacts, bags and shows.
Bride & Groom Exhibition is an Indian ethnic lifestyle show synonymous with the advent of the wedding season in India. ITE has recently concluded its 10th edition of the flagship show of the Bride And Groom Exhibition - the Delhi exhibition. It catered to shoppers from the elite, the upper middle classes, as well as the middle class.
ITE Group India, the organizers of Bride & Groom Exhibitions, was established in 1994. It is an enterprise engaged in trade promotion activities in India and abroad, through the organization of international exhibitions, conferences, seminars and buyer-seller meets on themes that include automobiles, lifestyle, gems & jewellery, building & construction, oil & gas, power generation, food & drink, health care, and travel & tourism.
