The Greater Roadrunner has some keen competition from true-blue Hyderabadis. All from 10 years olds, 16 year olds, adults and veterans are invited to run, not jog, the 4km stretch from Sanjeeviah Park to People's Plaza in the Hyderabad 10K Road Running Races.
Last month, 500 people turned up to tumble along the tar and gravel to win the tempting awards that the winners will get to take home. An amount of Rs. 10,000 will be disbursed as cash-awards among the runners-up.
The Road Running Races are being organised jointly by the Hyderabad District Athletics Association and Hyderabad 10K Foundation. So lace up your sneakers and join the oft-demonstrated Hyderabadi mania for sprinting at the drop of a flag.
Free registrations start 0600 hrs onwards on the morning of 26th March, at Sanjeeviah Park. Please contact K Rajesh Kumar at 92465-29013 for further details.
