The Visalandhra Publishing House is one of the biggest bookstores in Hyderabad. The newspaper, publishing house and stores were all established at this place to promote education among the masses. Many of the titles are actually published by their own publishing house. An interesting store, this is known to be the only one in Hyderabad that does justice to Telugu literature.
This store is organizing a book exhibition at its premises on the eve of the 55th Independence Day celebrations and to coincide with the State Government's Chaduvulu Panduga (recently launched by Chandra Babu Naidu at Basaraa). During this exhibition, discounts on books published and distributed by it, and special discounts on the books of other publishers, will be on offer. Several national and international publishing houses will display books published by them on a gamut of subjects.
