The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is organizing a special book exhibition for an 8-day period, on the occasion of the Independence Day celebrations. Hundreds of books in different Indian languages and in various genres - the biographies of eminent personalities, children's literature, Gandhian literature, reference works, books on communication and journalism, animal husbandry and trees, etc. - will be on display.
A special discount of 10% will be on offer on purchases of books of the National Book Trust, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, ICAR, SA and ICCR. The Publications Division has been organizing various kinds of book exhibitions all over the country for the benefit of book lovers.
