The 11th All India Children's Painting Exhibition is being organized by Vijay Informations (Fine Arts Academy), with paintings of 800 children of various ages and from different parts of the country on display for 4 days.
These paintings are mostly ofwater colors, and are quiterealistic to look at. The life style in Indian villages, festivals, natural sceneries, birds, animals, landscapes, seascapes, fruits, play grounds, marriages, cartoons, works on terrorism/destruction, on Kargil and on Gujarat (Godra), Bhangra dances, Rajasthani dances, political leaders, Onam, Assamese dances and pencil works are some of the topics the children chose to depict in their paintings.
The top 10 award winners in the competition are Jagruti (painting - cock fight), Saumik Chakraborty (a village), Parikh Nisarg Sanjay (Hyderabad), Bijal B Chauhan (fancy fish), Ekta Khatri (landscape), Md. Taher (road cum rail bridge), Karthikeya (visit to a Zoo), Ravinder (un-title), Alisha Yamini (madari) and Archit Shekhar Vaidya (circus advertising).
