The ACE 2007 Corporate Quiz: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR THE ACE 2007 CORPORATE...

"What is the Swahili word for shepherd?" If this question piques your interest, you will want to be at ACE 2007. The Hyderabad chapter of Asha (http://www.ashanet.org) is organizing the third edition of the ACE 2007 Corporate Quiz. Asha is a worldwide voluntary organization dedicated to the cause of education for the underprivileged. Asha engages in fund-raising, project selection and monitoring, advocacy and activism, and in project execution. For the average person, Asha is one avenue through which they can contribute their time and effort for worthy causes.

Funds raised from ACE 2007 will be used to support a mid-day meal program at the Ramakrishna Upper Primary School, Yellammabanda, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Most of the students are children of stone quarry workers and are first generation learners. The mid-day meal programme has been running for several years in a sustained manner, and is largely responsible for better attendance and better overall health of the children.
