Schools! Opportunities in sporting glory do not come more easily than this! YMCA of Greater Hyderabad is organising the 8th Annual Kargil Victory Sports Festival for schools at its Narayanaguda grounds from 30th August to 1st September.
The events will be held in Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Karate. The participation fee for the events are:-
Table Tennis - Rs. 25 per head
Lawn Tennis - Rs. 200 per head
Basketball - Rs. 150 per team
Volleyball - Rs. 150 per team
Kho-Kho - Rs. 150 per team
Kabaddi - Rs. 150 per team
Karate - Rs. 30 to Rs. 75 depending upon the event
Chess - Rs. 30 per head
This is the 8th year in a row this event is being conducted, with the number of participants growing every year. Last year it was conducted on a very grand scale with as many as 150 schools having participated. This year, they expecting more than 200 schools. The last date for registration is 29th August. No spot entries will be accepted.
