The phrase hi-tech assumes cutting-edge proportions with CBIT's Tecstasia, their national level technical symposium. All CBIT students and about 400 students from colleges across the country are expected to participate in this two day fete that begins the 9th of March. Registrations are open till the 5th of March and entry is only by invitation.
Paper presentations, seminars, IT craze, debuggings contest and LAN gaming are the regular features while a special competition in Robotics will steal the show. Students will be given all the equipment with which they will build functional robots.
Cultural programs by the participants themselves will take place after 1700 hrs everyday. Last year, ex student of CBIT, Sekhar Kammula graced the evening and so much fireworks are expected this year too. The symposium is being sponsored by TCS, Cognizant and Infotech among others.
