The Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology is holding a youth festival called Tachyon 2K2 for 2 days. This is an annual technical symposium that includes many technical and fun events.
The fest's primary motive is to foster interaction between technocrats and technoseekers. It also aims to serve as an impetus to students and educationalists of the engineering sciences to interact with industry and to learn and/or ascertain their convictions. The student community as well as the industry can benefit from such initiatives, feel the organizers.
The festival also has several entertainment programs up its sleeve. The motto is to 'edutain' (educate+train) people by having interesting brain teasing programs that can simultaneously be lots of fun. Some of the interesting programs scheduled during the festival are as follows:
Kaun Banega Cashpati (KBC) - A game similar to Kaun Banega Crorepati where thousands of rupees can be won.
Paper Presentation Contest (PPC) - A prism to showcase your presentation skills.
Circuit Design Contest/Innovative Work Presentation - Coax your grey cells into designing some hard 'n' soft stuff.
Comrec - A must event for anyone who has acquaintance with electronic components.
Quizzes - Brain busters!
Wizard Of C / Frame A Game (debugging contest) - On the spot 'C' programming contest. A nice opportunity for the 'C'tizens of the programming world to frame any game of their choice in 'C'.
Tronix Safari & Measurex - Wander through the maze of electronic gadgets and instruments.
Group Discussions - A treat for all the garrulous.
Fun Games - Treasure hunt, network games, collage, crosswords & jumble, Liar Liar, poster design contest, Ad-Mad, Answer A Stupid Question, graffiti board, caricature and more.
