Ever since the NTR Park opposite the Lumbini Park came up, there has been an
acute need felt for higher art appreciation among the city's denizens - 99% of
the crowds don't seem to be able to appreciate anything there. It's hard to say
if that's why Daira was inspired to do this, but here's a good thing nevertheless.
In its endeavor to promote art awareness, the Daira Center for Art and Culture is arranging group activities for both children and adults all through April and May. The concept of the workshop is to enhance the "seeing" of art and also the feel for the medium, and understand the processes behind various art techniques.
