Raghava, who is working as a peon in the district collector's office wants his daughter Swetha to become a collector too. He is very arrogant with her although she is very intelligent. Swetha falls ill because of Raghava's arrogance and is unable to attend the school examination. Raghava is furious and beats Swetha mercilessly and she is admitted to the hospital. The collector comes to know of this and helps Swetha by getting her treated through a famous psychiatrist following which Swetha is cured. From that day onwards, Raghava looks after his daughter with affection and Swetha is finally declared the best student in the district.
