8-year-old Robin lives with his parents in a village in Goa. With an extraordinary gift for mathematics, he is always prepared to help anyone who has a problem with numbers. He shares his happiness with Koko, his beloved dog. Robin's uncomplicated world is shattered when Uncle Joe and Aunt Sheila, a sly couple, who have heard about his prodigious prowess, enter his innocent life. Conceiving a secret plan, the cunning couple persuade Robin's unsuspecting parents to take Robin to Panjim for better schooling. Once there, they exploit him by making him demonstrate his amazing mathematical skills in live shows for tourists.
Soon, Robin becomes a household name but he is not happy and one day, he loses his talent. Driven with a strong desire to return home, Robin and Koko run away from Panjim with the help of a benevolent truck driver. As they approach the village, Robin sees the familiar village trees, the busy brook; he feels the rustle of the breeze and sees concerned friendly faces around him. And one day, when the washerwoman confronts him with her accounting problem, Robin regains his priceless prowess.
