It's not possible to compromise on music for the rock fans of town. That's 'cos the pubs do it for them anyway, by playing wannabe music (and everything else is wannabe music). And that's where Escape shines in, throwing warm, nurturing light each week on the gloomy horizon.
Tonite Sunny, the in-house DJ of Escape, will serve a hot and exquisite buffet of both hip-hop and rock cuisine. Whether it is the hard rock of G 'n' R, Def Leppard and Metallica, or lighter stuff from Deep Purple and Aerosmith, Sunny will walk his talk. You can also petition for classic stuff from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Sabbath and Van Halen.
Contrary to the wide menu of music, the cocktail section lacks variety. But you can try some of their funkiest cocktails in Sex In The Beach (vodka, peach, schnapps with orange juice), Bees Kiss (white and dark rum with honey and cream) and Devil's Angel (vodka and dark rum with cream). The rates are no bar as this place doesn't leave you with a hole in your pocket. In the end, round it off with the finger licking Midnight Biryani Festival at their Once Upon A Time restaurant for just Rs. 175 (+ taxes).
The entry to the pub is free. Please contact 5551-5151/2375-7575 for further details.
