REVIEW FOR SUNDAY CHESS TOURNAMENT

These kings may not be well-versed in etiquettes but they know their moves in black and white.

The Chess Academy Of Andhra Pradesh is conducting chess tournaments for children and youngsters who are below the age of 20 years. These competitions will be held only on Sundays. The tournament is being organised to train and educate the children about the various rules involved in playing chess. It also aims at kindling the competitive spirit in children.

There are a total of 6 categories, under 7; under 9; under 11; under 13, under 15; and under 20. A total of 60 children have already registered, and more are welcome. The registration fee for is Rs. 100 per participant.
