The Reserve Bank Of India is conducting an inter-institutional open carrom tournament at its sports complex, starting from today. This tournament is open to all institutions, both the public and the private sectors. Individuals can also participate in this tournament provided they represent an institution.
The contest will be inaugurated by the ex-director of the Reserve Bank Of India, M Gandhi, on the 29th of this month at 4.00pm. The Managing Director of the Sports Authority of India, Neelam Sahani, will also be present at the inauguration ceremony.
The maximum number of participants per team is 6, and minimum is 4. The registration fee per team is Rs. 300. For 2 participants the registration fee is Rs. 100 and, for a single participant it is Rs. 50. There are three categories in this tournaments, singles, doubles and team participation.
