Shilparamam in collaboration with the Department of Culture jumps onto the summmer camp band wagon. But with one difference. It doesn't charge you a dime for anything, making the minds of all the Doubting Thomases work overtime.
And doubt you would, if you get so much for free, especially if it is from the Government. The aim of this workshop is to teach traditional arts and crafts and link education with culture for children aged 4 to 16. The activities scheduled to be taught are Nirmal paintings, pottery, mask making, Nirmal toy making, Kalamkari paintings, singing and languages.
Participation certificates will be awarded at the end of the workshop. The application forms for this can be obtained from the Director of Tourism situated near Tank Bund or form the Special Officer at Shilparamam. They can also be downlaoded from www.ccrtindia.org. The registration must be completed by the 2nd of May.
