Friends Bonsai Society is organizing a 3-day exhibition-cum-sale of Bonsai plants on the occasion of Asha Bhanu - Japan Center's golden jubilee celebrations. The exhibition will be called 'Shizen', and will depict Indian seasons through different styles and sizes of tropical Bonsai. Over 150 varieties of Bonsai will be put up on display.
The main objective of the society is to promote knowledge and appreciation of this Japanese art of miniaturizing trees among the public. Please contact 666-2323 for further details.
