10 Downing Street is celebrating its 1st anniversary for a period of 10 days, with plenty of entertaining events. The first three days will see a popular Goan band 'Tidal Wave' performing. Some of the best fire-eaters of the country will present astounding fire eating tricks. Goan cuisine will be available during the occasion. This will be followed by 'Caravela Casino Nights', which will overlap into a Halloween special on October 31.
The organizers are getting popular DJ Whosane to perform on November 1. On November 3, a Treasure Hunt has been planned. This will be followed by a special Diwali party and fashion show by Imran Khan. The grand finale on November 5 will see a party with DJ Ivan.
Tidal Wave
Formed in March '96, Tidal Wave has performed at most of the mega events in Goa, and had the opportunity to play in major cities like Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune. Vency Dias (bass guitar and lead vocals), Nelson Mendes (synthesizer and vocals), Tony Fernandes (electronic drums and lead vocals), and Ally Rodrigues (rhythm, lead and vocals) are the team of this band. The band has a repertoire that includes the latest in pop, rock, reggae, techno, bhangra, Goan and Portuguese music.
