After successfully making its debut last year, the Hyderabad Theatre Festival is now in its second outing. Titled the Hyderabad Theatre & Short-Film Festival, it has been scheduled for 19th to 25th July, at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. A total of 7 plays and 6 short films will be screened during the week-long festival.
The 3rd day of the festival, the 21st of July, features an English-Hindi play written by Feroze and Bhavani, and directed by Bhavani.
This 90-minute play, titled "Sense", details the journey of an artist's life. The artist is stuck in his own art, with questions that include "What are the parameters to justify an expression?", "Are we really free?" and "Do we have the freedom to express?". To these questions, he finds only one answer - "Kya kiya tha maine".
Art is the perception of the world and beyond, by human senses. How far one can go to justify art? Welcome to the world of abstract interaction and shades of different emotions combined with the elements of ironic humor.
