As a tribute to the legendary rock band Pink Floyd, Xtreme Sports Bar is presenting a live rock night by Fame, a rock band from Vizag, on 21st July. To mark this occasion, Fame will play some hit numbers from the Pink Floyd stable, such as Another Brick In The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Hey You, Learning To Fly, Time, and Comfortably Numb.

Fame is a slow rock cum rock-n-roll band with Kim Fairman as the drummer, Michael Rodrigues as the lead vocalist and bass guitarist and Keith Thomas as the lead guitarist and back-up vocalist. The band was formed in the year 2001 in Vizag.

The band first came into the limelight in September 2009, when it played for a competition held by one of Hyderabad's sports bars. 16 bands participated in the competition, and Fame was adjudged the first runner-up at the final event held at Novotel. The competition was judged by Indian rock band Parikrama.

Ever since, Fame has played for private parties and corporate events. The band is now looking to expand its wings, and wants to achieve the status of being Hyderabad's best cover band. Apart from playing covers, the band also has a few originals, with 'WTF' being among their compositions.
