Mainland China is recreating China's maritime culture in its Seafood Festival from 24th November to 24th December. The festival is being held at all Mainland China restaurants across India.
The a la carte menu offers an array of starters including Steamed lobster, Mushroom dumpling and Steamed prawn. In the soups section, there are Shangsi crabmeat and mushroom soup, and Eight treasure seafood soup. One can choose from Sauteed lobster with Schezwan pepper chilli sauce, Vodka braised prawns with Chilli ginger sauce, Stir fried squid flowers with peppers, Crispy soft shell crab with garlic flakes, Schezwan chilli and steamed whole fish with lemon grass and red onion for the main course. Other delicacies like Crabmeat cake with crabmeat sauce, Spicy lemongrass flavoured lobster broth, Hot and sour crabmeat, Steamed crabmeat in XO sauce, Rock lobster with Spicy garlic sauce, Grilled tiger prawns, Stir fried shrimps with cucumber and preserved chillies, Wok-tossed prawns with caramelized walnuts, Braised basa fillet in Seafood coriander sauce will leave you spoilt for choice.
To go with this delectable platter, one can have Tuna and egg white fried rice, Pan fried noodles with seafood and chinese cabbage, Fried rice with XO sauce and shrimps, Seafood fried rice, Spicy crabmeat fried rice and Hokkien noodles with prawns. To end the meal on a sweet note, one can try the regular dessert menu which has Sizzling brownie with ice cream, Mainland China sundae, Daarsaan, Date Wontons, Hot Chocolate Rolls With Vanilla Ice Cream, Sesame coated caramalized walnuts, Honey noodles with almond flakes, and Date pancake.
