Ever wondered how you'd look if you dressed up as a Maharaja of a bygone era? Well, find out now at the Royal DictArt exhibition, being held at Daira Centre For Arts And Culture, from 6th August to 8th August. The timings of the exhibition are 11am to 7pm.
Royal DictArt is an exhibition of paintings, as well as a photo-projection, by Masuram Ravikanth. Masuram has painted Maharajas this time, and has also dressed himself up as Maharajas of different regions - entire acts have also been videographed. A video installation will also be done along with the painting exhibition. Members of the audience will also be invited to dress up as Maharajas, and will be photographed, and the photos will be handed over to the spectator later.
Masuram was born in 1980 in Jangaon, Andhra Pradesh. He did his Masters in Fine Arts from Central University (Hyderabad) in 2005, and has been participating in many shows since then, in Hyderabad, Bombay and Delhi.
