Karampodi pizza is something that turned out when you last tried baking a pizza at home. Wrong - mind it!
Pizza is on a date with Karampodi at the Quick Gun Murugan food fest at the Taj Deccan. The festival is on for dinner, from 7:30pm to 11:45pm, from 1st August to 9th August.
The event is based on the cult Indian television character Quick Gun Murugan, a south-Indian cowboy, and the festival features a fusion of Italian cuisine with South Indian food.
The menu offers offbeat combinations, including Karampodi Idly with Maggi Masala, Whisky with Masala Dosa, Spaghetti with Kheema Masala, Karampodi Pizza, Grilled Chicken with Pickle Sauce and Indian Chilli Corn with Makai Roti. The dessert menu is equally unusual, with the likes of Pinacolada Payasam and Chilled Chocolate Jalebi.
