Junoon - Acting Workshop By Sutradhar: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR JUNOON - ACTING WORKSHOP...

Suthradhar is conducting a theater workshop for budding actors in town, from 8th August to 9th August. The timings of the workshop are 9am to 1pm.

The workshop is an introduction to acting for fresh talent. Vinay Varma, founder of Sutradhar, and Prof. Bhaskar Shewalkar, will teach participants the nuances of theatre acting. The workshop will concentrate on mime, voice, rhythm, speech and movements. Some acting and theatre games are also going to be part of the workshop.

Vinay Varma is a seasoned actor with over 25 years of experience in theatre and film. He has acted in many films, including like Mukbhir, 16th December, an English film called Beeper, and more recently, a Telugu film called Veedi - The Street. Sutradhar was founded by him in 1996, as a platform to promote new talent in acting, writing and direction fields.

Prof. Bhaskar Shewalkar has an experience of 50 years in theatre. He specializes in theatre education for kids, and was the Head of the Department For Theatre Arts, at Central University.
