Venue has always been coming up with something different for the connoisseurs of food in the twin cities. This time it is a Punjabi food festival with all the music and rustic replica for the theme and with the whole place being turned into a typical Punjabi countryside eatery. The food being served gives the authentic taste of the rich cuisine of Punjab with several exotic accompaniments.
There is a wide variety of food which includes Tandoori Roti, Sarson Da Saag, Lahori Paneer, Nargisi Kofta, Biryani, Resmi Naan, Ludhiyanvi Kadi, Phirni and other varieties of dessert like kulfis and lassis. Besides these, there are other dishes that have combined some aspects of the Punjabi cuisine with that of some external influences such as the gravy component that came from the Mughals, like the Murg Makhani.
The festival menu also includes a few dishes that take a long time to cook. These preparations have almost disappeared from the Punjabi home-menu because of the time involved. The non-vegetarian menu includes various preparations of chicken and fish. The meal ends with a big list of desserts like lassi, kulfi and other products made with milk and cream.
This festival intends to stay distinct from similar events, characterized by an excellence in the flair, taste and style of all the food that is being served.
