Prima Donna, the Institute of Performing Arts, is organizing a 45-day dance camp. The Summer Sutra, as it is called, is a course on dances of different kinds. These dances are not just from India but from different parts of the world.
The dances have been categorized in three sections: Western, Folk and Contemporary. The details are listed below:
1. Western - Jazz, Salsa, Ball Room, Russian Ballet, Party Dancing, Rock 'n' Roll, Break Dance, Tap, Tequila and Tango.
2. Folk - Traditional and Semi-Classical.
3. Contemporary - Film and Non-Film steps.
The fees for the camp is Rs. 1,500 for kids up to seven years of age and Rs. 2,000 for kids above seven. The registration fee is Rs. 500.
It is top-of-the-line choreographers giving the training. The facility, which is a whopping 2,000 sq. ft. in area, is fully air-conditioned. The courses offered are of three kinds. The first is a customized course where the member gets to decide how the training should go and what all he/she needs to learn. The other two courses are the regular courses and the special courses, which cover most of the dances mentioned above. The durations of the courses differ.
