It doesn't appear so from the movies, the papers and the roadside haul-ups, but apparently there are many good cops. At least this pro-active felicitator thinks so. And not just good, but great. They are "Rakshaka Ratnas" who are close in achievement and attitude to a pride of the Telugu land.
The Megacity Navakala Vedika is celebrating the 104th anniversary of the great freedom fighter Alluri Seetharama Raju, who led a strong army against the British Raj in India. In commemorating him, the organization is giving away Rakshaka Ratna Puraskar Awards to some policemen who are striving hard to earn a good name for their department.
