Pandit Jasraj returns to celebrate his Hyderabad connection, and the city has its classical-art appreciation senses all perked up already!
Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj is organising the 38th Pandit Motiram Pandit Maniram Sangeet Samaroh, from 29th November to 1st December, at the Chowmahalla Palace. This year, 9 artistes, including upcoming as well as senior performers, will perform during the 3-day festival, as below:
29th November

In memory of his late father Pandit Motiram and his brother Pandit Maniram, Pandit Jasraj, in association with the Department of Culture, organizes an annual music festival in Hyderabad. It was being held at the Nizam College grounds, which was where his father and his brother taught music to several students. However, since 2009, the venue has been shifted to the Chowmahalla Palace. Started in 1972, this festival is on for the 38th year.
