Growing up can be tough, as a child grapples with the complex and dynamic vagaries of life. It is very important to ensure that a child picks up the right cues from the environment and shapes his values and beliefs, as these would be the stepping stones to the development of the person he is going to be.
'Open Sesame- A Creative Concept Workshop For Children' by Treasure House, aims to equip children with the skills needed to perceive and interpret the world in the right way. It will help them hone their listening, observation, perception and association, comprehension, questioning and reasoning capabilities. The workshop will also focus on the enrichment of cognitive skills like concept development, language development (English) and creative skills.
The workshop is moderated by Anuprita, who is a child psychologist, who has been working on Concept Development Programs for children for a number of years. She has a double Master's degree in Medical & Psychiatric Social Work from TISS, and a degree in Clinical Psychology from Pune.
Children falling into the age-group of 3.5-6 years can attend the workshop. Please call 2355-0118 for further details.
