Sangeeta, a Hyderabadi settled in the US currently, is an artist who began her art education in JNTU (Hyderabad) and completed it in the US. She has brought selected paintings from two series of her works, Mud Walls and Mantra, to showcase here. Sangeeta has held several exhibitions in India and in the US, her most recent show being in Denver, Colorado. She is influenced by the Indian sensibility of color and the geometries of African art, and is tempered by the Abstract Expressionist School of American Painting.
