Jyotsna Kalapeetham is organising Padyala Pandiri, a poets' meet in which eight renowned poets will discuss their writings, some poems and literature, on 22nd May, at Kala Subbarao Kala Vedika, the mini-hall of Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Chikkadpally. The chief guests for the session are Dr. C N Gopinath Reddy, Additional Director General of Police, and Acharya Betavolu Ramabrahmam, HOD of Telugu, University of Hyderabad. The poets participating in this discussion are:

Jyotsna Kalapeetam was founded in 1997 by S Sarath Jyotsna Rani, a Professor in the Hyderabad Central University's Telugu Department. The organization has been encouraging young talent in poetry by giving awards and rewards. It gives out 3 major awards every year - the Jandhyala Gold Medal which is given to comedians, the Sugandhamayi Sahiti Puraskaram which includes a cash award of Rs. 5,116 to people who excel in sahityam, and Ugadi Puraskarams to 9 personalities who have excellence in their fields.
