Just over a hundred years ago, deep in the woods there lived the tiny forest people. They had their own small city, not so far away from the city of the Large Folks (which is how they called us People). They stood about 6 inches tall and had a firm grasp on the technical advances of that day and age, and were, all things considered, much more clever than us People. And in that city there lived Skii the Indian, Cowboy Mick, Fisherman Lim, Professor Brom, Bursh the Mechanic, Murzilka, and our heroes - Znaika, a brainy journalist, and his little brother, Neznaika. One day an evil villain named Barrabass raided the local Geographical Society where the forest folk held all their maps, books and globes...
This film is based on a series of illustrations by Palmer Cox and the stories written by the Russian writer Anna Hvolson.
