Nee Kosam - Apuroopa Chitrotsavam: Events in Hyderabad

Nee Kosam made Ravitheja while breaking through the Nandis. Watch it tonite.

Nee Kosam was the lucky film of Ravitheja, which established him as a hero. It won a couple of Nandi awards, including the best actor for him. However the Sreenu Vytla's directorial debut did not help his career as it was a failure at the box-office. The movie has music composed by R P Patnaik, and was produced by G Srinivas.

Ravitheja plays an artist while, the low-budget film producers' hot property, Maheswari plays his ladylove, in this sentimental love story which is decked with many twists and turns.

Sasirekha (Maheswari) is the daughter of a rich father (Jayaprakash Reddy), who is a strict disciplinarian. Her marriage is arranged with a medico, Sudhir (Brahmaji) by her father, who is notorious for his violent temper and irrational bahaviour.

Sasi falls in love with Ravi (Ravitheja), the event triggering off a couple of murders, and an attempted suicide by Ravi himself. Sasi finally gets to decide whether she has to marry Sudhir or Ravi, who almost sacrificed his life for her love.
